# Semperi vs Popmenu — the five questions to ask both

> Popmenu made menus interactive; Semperi runs the whole marketing job from one shared restaurant context. Ask both the same five questions.

## Semperi vs Popmenu
Popmenu markets itself as restaurant website and marketing technology, best known for interactive menus.

Checked: August 30, 2026

## What their official pages say
- Popmenu publishes three tiers. The entry plan includes an SEO website, interactive menu, Google Business Profile sync, contact collection, automated email, menu updates, dish reviews and OpenTable integration.
- Higher tiers add mass email, social posting, SMS, a marketing calendar, reporting, waitlist and reservations, guest feedback, reputation management, and AI review replies.
- Online ordering and catering are add-ons. Popmenu says it takes no percentage of sales and charges $1 per online order; its pricing page also names integrations including Toast, Square, Clover, Stripe, OpenTable, DoorDash, NCR Voyix, and Oracle MICROS Simphony.

## When Popmenu may fit better
Interactive menus, OpenTable-connected guest data, built-in waitlist and reservations, and a broad named integration ecosystem are the priority.

## The five questions
### What does it cost, and is any of it a cut of my orders?
- Semperi: One flat monthly subscription per location. No commission, no per-order cut, cancel anytime. Current plan prices are published on the pricing page.
- Popmenu: Popmenu publishes its own terms — check the current pricing page and ask what is flat, what is usage-based, and whether anything scales with order volume.
### Can I trace the work back to real restaurant evidence?
- Semperi: Each recommendation, reply, and report keeps its restaurant source attached, so the work can be checked instead of taken on faith.
- Popmenu: Ask Popmenu to show the source behind a review reply, recommendation, or reported number in the product.
### If I leave, who keeps the website, domain and guest list?
- Semperi: The website, domain and guest list are yours. Leaving Semperi does not cost you the thing you built.
- Popmenu: Ask Popmenu what happens to your domain, site content and customer data on cancellation — and get it in writing before you sign.
### Is it one system or a bundle of point tools?
- Semperi: One AI team of ten named employees — website, reviews, campaigns, inbox and the daily brief — sharing one restaurant context.
- Popmenu: Check which parts of Popmenu's offer share one context and which are separate modules with separate settings.
### How honest is the pitch about what works today?
- Semperi: Semperi's current plan prices are public on the pricing page, and capabilities are described as they work today.
- Popmenu: Ask Popmenu which advertised capabilities are generally available versus beta, and what the onboarding actually includes.
