# Data deletion instructions

> How to request deletion of personal data held by Semperi, including data received through Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads connections.

To request deletion of your personal data from Semperi, email hello@semperi.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. These instructions also apply to data received through Meta connections.
## 1. Send a deletion request
Email hello@semperi.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Semperi is a product of Nuxa, Inc., which handles these requests.
- Include the email address or phone number associated with your Semperi account, or the Meta account or business profile involved.
- Tell us which data you want deleted and, if relevant, the business or location connected to it. You can request deletion of all personal data we hold about you.
- Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment details or identity documents with your initial request.
## 2. What happens next
We review your request and may ask for information needed to verify your identity or authority over a business account. We will explain the scope of the request and confirm the outcome by email.
If a restaurant or another business controls the data and Semperi processes it on their behalf, we may refer the request to that business or coordinate with them. A request about your personal data does not authorize deletion of another person’s data or an entire business account.
## 3. Data received through Meta
Your request can cover personal data Semperi holds from Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or Threads connections. Depending on the connection, this may include account and profile identifiers, imported messages, comments, content and related records.
To stop future access, remove the connected app’s access in the relevant Meta account or business settings. Where a disconnect option is available in Semperi, you can also use it. Revoking access and requesting deletion are separate steps: revoking access does not by itself delete previously stored data.
Deletion from Semperi does not delete your Meta account, remove content from Meta’s services or delete copies held by other people. Manage those separately with Meta or the relevant recipient.
## 4. Retention and limits
Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, security, dispute resolution or other permitted purposes described in our Privacy Policy. We will explain any limits that apply to your request.
