Website editing and publishing

Edit, preview, publish, and verify a restaurant website without risking the live domain.

Current status: live for page editing, themes, subdomain claim, publication, and rendered sites. The chat workbench is available to enabled pilot restaurants.

Before editing, confirm the correct tenant and whether the current domain is already serving guests. Update facts at their source. Preview navigation, hours, contact links, menu, ordering, reservations, privacy links, and mobile layout.

In the workbench, ask Ink for an outcome and check its plan before it changes the draft. A request may prepare separate Website and Menu outputs under one piece of Work. Open the Website output, compare the exact before and after, inspect validation, and check both desktop and mobile. Keep records the reviewed draft version; Undo restores its exact baseline. Neither action publishes the site.

Publish Website is a separate owner confirmation bound to the version reviewed. If the page, design, SEO, or approved asset changes after review, review again instead of approving stale work. Before publish, record the approver, current domain state, expected change, and rollback owner. After publish, open the public URL in a fresh session and complete the main guest journey. DNS changes can take time; do not make repeated conflicting changes while propagation is unknown.
